This section is dedicated to the art of Tandoor and Angeethi. The tandoor originated in Ancient Greece and travelled to India with the army of Alexander the Great. The tandoor is a bell-shaped coal fired clay oven. The shape has undergone many changes over the centuries. Angeethi is more influenced by the art of char-grilling, widely popular in the northern states of India.
